
A simple and quick cake to prepare. Perfect for breakfast and snack, delicious and light.
In a bowl, add the sugar and the flour. Mix with a spoon.
Add the oil, the orange juice and the water. Mix with a spoon.
Add the baking powder and mix well, taking care not to form lumps.
Pour the batter into an 18 cm pan previously buttered and floured.
Sprinkle a little granulated sugar and the chocolate chips (or sliced almonds, if you prefer) over the surface.
Bake in a conventional oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes. Always perform the toothpick test to check for doneness.
Remove from the oven, let cool and serve.
