A simple and traditional recipe: bread rubbed with tomato, seasoned with salt, oregano, and a drizzle of BuondiOli extra virgin olive oil for a genuine summer flavor.

Toast the slices of bread lightly until they become crispy.
Cut the tomatoes in half and rub the pulp directly onto the toasted bread slices until the bread is soaked with the juice and flavor of the tomato.
Add a pinch of salt and a sprinkle of oregano on each slice.
Generously drizzle with EVO oil (raw oil) and serve immediately.
Toaster or pan for toasting bread
Knife
It is recommended to use very ripe tomatoes and a good extra virgin olive oil to enhance the flavors. Serve immediately to maintain the crispness of the bread.
