Light salad with lettuce, tofu, and cucumber
My "white salad" as I have nicknamed it, although a bit anemic, allows us to fill up on vitamins, minerals, and plant proteins. In fact: - tofu provides us with essential nutrients for the health of our skeleton and gastrointestinal system. It is also recommended for those who suffer from cholesterol as it is completely free of saturated fats. Lettuce, due to its high water content, rehydrates our body, making it especially useful in summer when the intense heat causes significant fluid loss.
