Fondue made with melted cheeses flavored with light beer, ideal as a dish to share for appetizers or informal dinners. Creamy and flavorful, it pairs well with toasted bread, raw vegetables, or apple cubes.
Grate the Fontina cheese using a coarse grater, place it in a saucepan along with the cornstarch and turn on the heat.
Pour in the beer in a thin stream while continuing to stir until it is completely melted.
The mixture should neither be too liquid nor too thick. Serve the FONDUE hot with cubed dark bread, in the appropriate container with a candle underneath to keep it warm. A terracotta bowl preheated in the oven also works well.
Garnish with grated bacon and enjoy!
