Wash and peel the apples. Cut them into chunks.
Place them in a bowl with lemon juice, sugar, and a bit of cinnamon, and mix.
Let them marinate for at least half an hour in the refrigerator.
Prepare the batter with sifted flour, baking powder, and gradually add the COLD beer, please.
Once ready, add the marinated apples, being careful not to pour in the lemon juice from the marination.
Mix well and heat the oil to 180 degrees in a high-sided saucepan.
Drop a spoonful of battered apples into the hot oil.
Turn them occasionally, and once golden (about 3 minutes), place them on absorbent paper and sprinkle with sugar.
Let them cool slightly and enjoy!
