Beer batter is a light and crispy mixture used to fry various foods such as vegetables, fish, and chicken. The beer gives a special flavor to the batter and makes the fried foods even tastier. This recipe is easy to prepare and perfect for accompanying many dishes.

Sift the flour into a bowl, add the beer, eggs, and a pinch of salt, and mix until you obtain a homogeneous batter.
Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let the batter rise for 15-20 minutes.
After this time, mix again vigorously, then pass the mixture through a fine sieve to eliminate any flour lumps.
Just before frying, fold in the beaten egg whites that are not too stiff.
Add the egg whites a little at a time to control the consistency of the batter: if it becomes too liquid, it will fall apart while cooking.
