  • Orange juice200mL
  • Seed oil100mL
  • All-purpose flour300g
  • Unwaxed oranges1unit
  • Instant baking powder1packet

Preparation

  1. STEP 1 OF 6

    Dissolve the sugar in warm water by stirring quickly.

  2. STEP 2 OF 6

    Add the fresh juice of about 2 oranges and then the oil.

  3. STEP 3 OF 6

    Sift the flour with the baking powder and add it to the liquid part.

  4. STEP 4 OF 6

    Add the grated zest of an unwaxed orange and mix well so that the batter is smooth and homogeneous.

  5. STEP 5 OF 6

    Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes.

    Remove from the oven and let cool.
