Sweet sanguinaccio is a traditional Neapolitan carnival dessert, made with cocoa, milk, sugar, and dark chocolate. It was once made with pig's blood.
In a pot, over low heat, mix the sugar with the cocoa and starch, gradually add the milk, the cinnamon, and finally the chocolate pieces.
Stir to avoid forming lumps.
When the consistency is creamy, turn off the heat and add the butter.
