
Beat the eggs with the sugar using electric whisks.
Gradually add the seed oil, then the orange juice and mix.
Add the grated zest and a pinch of salt.
Add the sifted flour and baking powder and mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Slice 2-3 oranges thinly and arrange them at the bottom of a 26 cm baking pan lined with parchment paper (or buttered and floured); sprinkle with two tablespoons of sugar.
Pour the batter over the fruit and bake in a preheated static oven at 180°C for 45-50 minutes.
Once baked, invert the cake and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
