We are talking about a Slow Food Presidio: the production of Monte Veronese DOP of the Presidio is linked to the ascent to the mountain pastures of the herds in the pastures of Lessinia and, therefore, must take place during the period from late May until September. This cheese is one of the most important among those produced in the mountains in the Italian gastronomic landscape. The Casara won the 32nd edition of the Festa del Formaggio Monte Veronese, in the Monte di Malga category.
