Extra virgin olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical means. This Contarina Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a premium product. Produced in the olive groves of Valle di Mezzane, in the municipalities of Mezzane di Sotto and Illasi, on the northern hills of the province of Verona. This valley is a particularly unique climatic treasure ideal for oil production: a substrate of marl and sandstone, an unspoiled nature, a closed valley that maintains consistently controlled temperatures throughout the year with excellent thermal variations especially during the fruit ripening period. This is an oil of the Doge type (Casaliva Leccino). It has an intense green color, creamy and persistent, with strong notes of vegetables, artichoke, and thistle. Extra Virgin Olive Oil Doge: 2022 awards: Gold Medal at the AIPO International Competition, Silver Aipo 2022: First place at the Palio dell'Olio Extravergine 2022 Verona, 2023: Featured in the Gamberorosso and Slow Food guides.
