Superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives and exclusively through mechanical processes. This Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Contarina is a high-quality product. A truly exciting oil, intentionally presented in a beautiful label to highlight the intrinsic quality value of the product. Produced in the olive groves in Valle di Mezzane, in the municipalities of Mezzane di Sotto and Illasi, on the northern hills of the province of Verona. This valley is a particularly unique climatic treasure and ideal for oil production: a substrate of marl and sandstones, an uncontaminated nature, a closed valley that maintains temperatures always controlled throughout the year with excellent thermal fluctuations especially during the ripening period of the fruit. The olives used are of the Leccio variety (pure Leccio and Leccio del Corno). This oil has a light fruity scent, tastes of green grass and tomato, elegant and balanced with a slight bitterness that fades quickly. Clear and brilliant, typical green with golden reflections, typical of the cultivars of the Veronese hills.
